Bounty Star announced, an action game that combines mecha combat and base building

Annapurna Interactive adds to its catalog a game that promises to offer a less curious combination. This is Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem, a 3D first-person action title that mixes mecha combat, farming, and base building. The forecast is that the game developed by Dinogod will be available during 2023 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Game Pass and PC through Steam, as announced by the publisher.

Bounty Star puts players in the shoes of an ex-soldier named Clementine McKinney or simply Clem, a war veteran and powerful mecha-piloting fighter. “Clem will try to shake off the guilt and shame of her past and become a legitimate force for good in Red Expanse, a post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest,” explains Annapurna Interactive. Red Expanse is an agricultural and commercial region plagued by criminals and beasts, whose safety is in the hands of bounty hunters like Clem who have complete freedom to achieve their goals.

Clam pilots the Desert Raptor MKII, a mecha of great power. It is a customizable battle vehicle that can be equipped with a variety of attack systems: heavy and high-powered melee weapons, steam-hydraulic siege weapons, explosive firearms and more. It can also be configured with defensive systems such as thrusters and shields. In the trailer that accompanies the news you can see the Desert Raptor MKII in action.

But in Clam’s life not everything is fighting. Our protagonist has a dilapidated garage that serves as her base of operations and that barely serves as her home. His objective is also to improve the facilities to live better and produce ammunition and fuel. The land must also be used for a reliable supply of water and energy, as well as for growing food, cooking and raising animals.
